    Chef AJ has been devoted to a plant-exclusive diet for over 46 years. She was the host of Healthy Living with CHEF AJ on Foody TV. She is the author of three bestselling books, The Secrets to Ultimate Weight Loss, Own Your Health and The 10th Anniversary Edition of Unprocessed,

    She was the Executive Pastry Chef at Santé Restaurant in Los Angeles where she was famous for her vegan, sugar, oil, salt and gluten free desserts which use the fruit, the whole fruit and nothing but the whole fruit. She broadcasts CHEF AJ LIVE! on YouTube daily at 11:00 am Pacific time, where Dr. Weiss is a frequent guest. She is the creator of the Ultimate Weight Loss Program and is proud to say that her IQ is higher than her cholesterol.

  • Alan Goldhamer

    Dr. Alan Goldhamer is an expert in the use of medically supervised, water-only fasting. He is the founder and has been the director of TrueNorth Health Center since 1984 and has supervised the fasting and care of more than 25,000 patients. TrueNorth Health is a multidisciplinary practice that includes doctors of medicine, osteopathy, chiropractic, naturopathy and psychology. Its healthcare providers treat patients with conditions ranging from high blood pressure and diabetes to autoimmune disorders and lymphoma. The Center is the largest facility in the world specializing in medically supervised water-only fasting and a premier training facility for doctors to gain certification in the supervision of therapeutic fasting.

    Dr. Goldhamer is the author of The Health Promoting Cookbook and co-author of The Pleasure Trap – Mastering the Hidden Force That Undermines Health and Happiness and the new book, Can Fasting Save Your Life. He has helped author numerous studies and case reports published in peer-reviewed journals. He is a frequent lecturer, speaking on the use of fasting and diet in the restoration of optimum health.

  • Mary Berry

    The Berry Center Executive Director Mary Berry and her brother, Den Berry, were raised by their parents, Wendell and Tanya Berry, at Lanes Landing Farm in Henry County, Kentucky from the time she was six years old. She attended Henry County public schools and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1981. She farmed for a living in Henry County starting out in dairy farming, growing Burley tobacco, and later diversifying to organic vegetables, pastured poultry and grass fed beef.

    Mary is married to Trimble County, Kentucky farmer, Steve Smith, who started the first Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farming endeavor in the state of Kentucky. If daughters Katie Johnson, Virginia Aguilar and Tanya Smith choose to stay in Henry County, they will be the ninth generation of their family to live and farm there.

    Mary currently serves on the Boards of Directors of United Citizens Bank in New Castle, Kentucky, the Schumacher Center for a New Economics in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, and Sterling College in Vermont. She speaks all over the country as a proponent of agriculture of the middle, in defense of small farmers, and in the hope of restoring a culture and an economy that has been lost in rural America. Her writings have appeared in various publications and collections, including “Letters to a Young Farmer: On Food, Farming, and Our Future” (Princeton Agricultural Press, 2016) and the introduction for a new edition of essays, “Our Sustainable Table”, Robert Clark, ed. (Counterpoint, 2017).

  • Mark Dinglason

    Mark Dinglasan, MBA serves as New Jersey’s first-ever Food Security Advocate and runs the NJ Office of the Food Security Advocate (NJ OFSA). Based in the Governor’s office, OFSA is the first office of its kind in the nation and has the duty to: coordinate food security efforts and programs statewide, including developing new initiatives and outreach campaigns and identifying best practices, research, & strategies to increase enrollment and outcomes in the State's food security programs and initiatives. Prior to this role, Mr. Dinglasan was the executive director of CUMAC, the largest food security organization in Passaic County. In his role, Mr. Dinglasan led the fight against the root causes of hunger & poverty by using ACEs research and asset-based community building principles to create more just food systems and partnerships. Prior to coming home to New Jersey in 2017, Mr. Dinglasan was the Executive Director of CASA of Cook County in Chicago. Mr. Dinglasan’s background in equity and justice work is also informed by his experiences leading national corporate development and fundraising at JTB – A Pipeline Organization, the foundation started by The Honorable Ann Claire Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. With more than 21 years of experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, Mr. Dinglasan has led teams in the areas of organizational development and strategy, fundraising and partnership cultivation, trauma-informed program design, and community engagement. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Monmouth University and received his MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

  • Dr. Meagan Grega

    Dr. Meagan Grega is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Kellyn Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice. Kellyn provides school-based healthy lifestyle education and “Garden as a Classroom” programs; supports access to nutrient-dense produce via the Eat Real Food Mobile Market; engages participants in hands-on, plant-based cooking classes in community settings and offers intensive therapeutic lifestyle change interventions for individuals and families.

    Dr. Grega earned her MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and spent several years as a medical officer in the United States Navy. She is honored to serve as faculty for the St. Luke’s University Health Network Anderson Campus Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency programs, Clinical Assistant Professor for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and as the faculty advisor for the LKSOM/SLUHN medical student Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group. She serves as a member of several national task force groups dedicated to the expansion of evidence-based lifestyle medicine services and is the current conference chair for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Annual Meeting. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, serves as a Director of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and is board certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.

  • Phil Lombardo, DPT

    Dr. Phil Lombardo, a superior physical therapist, has extensive experience in the care of both sports injuries and general musculoskeletal injuries for patients of all ages. He has been a part of the MovNat team since 2021 and is our Director of Medical Curriculum but has been teaching MovNat Workshops and assisting with Certifications since 2018. He has a deep passion for accompanying people as they experience the sense of fulfillment when they achieve something they doubted. Nothing is more exciting in life than seeing people achieve their highest level of capability.

    Since 2007, Phil has been part of the top one percent of the Doctor of Physical Therapy in the country by becoming an APTA Board Certified Specialist in Sports (SCS). Dr. Lombardo has distinguished himself as a provider of choice in Sports Medicine, not only as an MCT, but is also recognized by the National Federation of State High School Associations as a Certified Coach specializing in Track and Field (NFHS). His expert knowledge as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) guarantee his patients the highest quality of care.

    Phil approaches each case individually and makes sure to know exactly what his patients want. He doesn’t just stop at working with a patient in the office, he ensures they are able to live the best life they can. Exceptionally qualified and driven means that Phil won’t rest until each patient is back to full strength and capability.

    Phil earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from New York University. It was also there that he received the department’s Service Award for Excellence in giving to others. Phil truly enjoys every opportunity to connect to our local community, his expertise, both eclectic and focused, has been an asset to countless local athletes and orthopedic patients! Giving back is important to Phil, it is his main philosophy for his care. His unmatchable level of determination throughout the day helps him give excellent one-on-one care to each of his patients.

    It brings Phil great joy as he shares MovNat, a physical education system for developing real-world capability through natural movement with his patients and now to the public. His journey led him to becoming a MovNat certified instructor, hosting the first-ever MovNat Elements Workshop in NJ and then becoming the first-ever licensed MovNat facility in NJ.

    As a devoted fitness enthusiast, Phil loves to constantly learn about and train in all areas (learning new knowledge and learning more about himself), including strength training, running, hiking, and kayaking. He grew up in Leonia and now resides in Butler with his wife and sons. Around the clinic, in addition to his passion for physical therapy, Phil is also known for his love of and expertise in chocolate, especially dark — 86% cacao, to be precise!
